 Kiranmayi Socio Educational Society (KISES) is a voluntary organization established in the year 1999 and since then working in the Khammam and Krishna Districts. Earlier we worked in the Khammam district on empowering the women groups and forming and strengthening of the self-help groups and establishing bank linkages for them in sustainability of their livelihood and engaging in the income generation programs. |

| Island Villages |
The area of villages selected by KISES was very remote area of the Krishna district and most adjacent to the river of Krishna and particularly of Island villages.
Location : These island villages were located in Nagayalanka mandal and far away to 20 K.M from Nagayalanka which is very adjacent to the Krishna River. The transportation is very difficult as the only way is through the sea and that also only one ferry transporting the villagers from this way to other.
Demographical area : In the island total 2 panchayats consisting of 10 villages and having 2000 families and around nearly 8000 population |
